Kenny Shirey Jr. – Top Southern California Charity Auctioneer
Kenny Shirey has been working with our California Coast Auctions teams for over 6 years! He a third generation auctioneer that comes from an auction family with roots based in California. His grandfather started a car auction in San Diego before he was born and growing up he was always surrounded by auctions and encouraged to ‘learn to bid call’ from his family. You might say that he was born to be an excellent Southern California Charity Auctioneer.
Now he is an experienced auctioneer that has been involved in the pre-production, consultation and conducting of live benefit auctions and he retains one of the best ratios for repeat clientele. He is a very passionate and energetic auctioneer that takes the success of the auction very personally.
In addition to conducting dozens of benefits for California Coast Auctions for such note worthy cause like Cure SMA, Radiant Health Center, The Newport Beach Police Association, The Surfrider Foundation, Community Conscience, Senior Concerns, The Laguna Beach Playhouse and multiple Boys and Girls Clubs, he is the primary auctioneer for Auction.com selling multi-million dollar properties every week and South Coast Auction House; the biggest auction house in Orange County.
“Kenny Shirey held our audience’s attention from start to finish. He was professional, dynamic, quick on his feet, and extremely likable. He kept things moving and he kept the audience motivated to keep bidding. As he raised the stakes, they raised their donation right along with him. Kenny was entertaining and had a great sense of humor. He set a enjoyable tone for our event. We are grateful to Kenny for a successful auction and we look forward to working with him again in the future. ”
Dear Zack and Kenny,
I cannot tell you enough how grateful we are for your partnership and support. This was by far the BEST Change Their Lives program and live auction that we have had since its beginning in 1999. This was due in part to your detailed work with us before, during and after 🙂 From your recommendations for timing to taking in our talking points to your team’s live auction note taking – it was wonderful.
It was refreshing to have a team who really wanted to know about the cause and believe in it with us. It was refreshing to work with a team who took time to get to know our staff as well. This personalized approach was reflected throughout the program.
We netted close to $200K. We made $59K alone in Mi Escuelita Paddle Raise and close to $113K on silent, live and paddle raise combined. I usually can wait for next year … but this time I’m excited to enhance our work for next year. We hope you will join us again. We are looking at the first Saturday of October 2017. We’ll keep you posted as soon as we can.
